Gleaner - Kingston,Jamaica
Even if you don't live in Jamaica, this
speaks volumes
towards the demand for the latest and greatest amongst prepaid
wireless
customers. Prepaid wireless is most certainly not taking a
back
seat to postpaid. Prepaid is merely a way to pay, and does
not
mean that customers aren't looking for the latest technology and good
value.
Virgin Mobile
USA acquires Helio for $39 million (source article removed)
Kansas
City Star - MO,USA
An interesting play for two unfrofitable and
struggling
companies to merge. There could be some very interesting
strategic benefits, however, we'll have to see how this unfolds.
