Customers Happier per JD Power Survey According
to the JD Power and Associates 2008 US Wireless Prepaid Customer
Satisfaction Study, overall satisfaction among prepaid wireless users
of flat rate plans is considerably higher than those on per minute
plans. This makes a lot of sense and is consistent with the
success of carriers like MetroPCS and the like that are focused on
unlimited offerings.
MetroPCS to launch in
NYC Crain's New York Business - New York, NY, USA It
will be interesting to see if Metro can duplicate its success
in
a highly competitive market like NYC. I'm looking forward to
reviewing their results. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until
mid 2009 before any material data will be available.
7-Eleven expands prepaid
wireless program to Singapore With
only marginal success with its Speak Out in the U.S., it will be
interesting to see how 7-Eleven does with its prepaid wireless program
in Singapore. The plan seems quite compelling, and the
competitive landscape is very different. It should be
interesting
to watch this launch next year.

adds rules for prepaid cell phones Boston Globe -

databases. This would not only be catastrophic to sales, but
would also introduce tremendous operational costs throughout the entire
value chain.
Mr.
Sim offers Prepaid SIM Card for iPhone with Unlimited Data By Eddie Lloyd This

evidence
that prepaid wireless is more and more about getting the latest and
greatest hardware as well as great value. Watch out postpaid!
